Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. - Solomon
Solomon, the author of the quote above, was one of the wisest men who ever lived. He correctly identified the perfect recipe for prosperity: good planning and hard work. It is not hasty shortcuts or get-rich-quick schemes that lead to wealth. Rather it is the careful, methodical and educated process of determining where you are now, your future goals, and how to achieve them.
The Dennis Michels Investment Group provides investment management and financial planning services to successful individuals and businesses.
Each investment portfolio is tailored specifically to the needs of the client. No two portfolios are alike. My portfolio management philosophy employs three basic principles:
- Performance – we seek to design and implement portfolios that deliver solid long term performance in all types of markets.
- Prudent Asset Allocation – a key to investment success is to allocate investment dollars among asset classes which exhibit a low correlation to one another. This means that the investments don’t typically march in lock – step with one another.
- Active Monitoring – once the custom portfolio has been designed and implemented, it must be diligently monitored and maintained.
- Protect Principal – portfolios are managed in a manner that seeks to keeps losses small and allows profit to accumulate.
